Replacement, Repair & Reconnection
Providing Ocala and Gainesville homeowners with the highest quality dryer vent cleaning services.
Since Dryer and Dryer Vent related home fires are so common, it is important to not only make sure that the system is cleaned, but also that it is structurally sound and meets at least the minimum fire safety requirements and Florida Building Code standards to ensure that your home is protected. When any part of the dryer vent system does not meet that standard, our certified (CSIA/CDET) technicians can provide the proper solution.
Replacement
Many older dryer venting systems utilize materials that have been found to be a serious fire hazard. Materials such as vinyl, aluminum flex (hard and soft), and PVC (when not in a concrete slab) are considered a fire hazard and should be replaced. Our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians replace dryer vents from the laundry room to the roof using materials and technique that exceed industry standards.
Repair
Sometimes, during our internal image scan of the venting system while cleaning, we find that a section of the vent was damaged due to poor installation practices and is causing performance issues. Other times, the metal piping is rusted from time and irregular maintenance. In these cases, our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians can repair the damaged area, often without having to replace the entire system.
Reconnection
One of the most common repairs that we do for dryer vents is reconnecting a dryer vent to the roof termination after a new roof is installed. When roofers install a new roof and replace roof terminations, they rarely ever get in the attic to connect the vent to the new termination, leaving the combustible lint blowing onto the underside of the roof decking and into the attic, creating a fire hazard. We often find these disconnections through our internal image scanning of the vent. If you haven’t had our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians out to service the dryer vent since your roof was replaced, we strongly recommend it!

Roof Termination Replacement
Do You Know If Yours Is Deteriorating?
For dryers to perform properly, every part of the system should be designed for the dryer’s venting needs. The most common performance and fire safety issue we find is improper sizing of the dryer vent roof termination. Most dryer vent roof terminations are vastly undersized or oversized and many don’t have a way to properly connect the venting system without rigging something in the attic that is neither safe nor efficient. Our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians install Inovate Dryer Roof Jacks (terminations) specifically designed for safe and efficient dryer venting needs.
Dryer Wall Box Installation
Saving Space Behind Your Appliances
The purpose of a dryer wall box is to save space in the laundry room. It allows the dryer to be moved back, closer to the wall, without kinking or crushing the connector hose, which, in turn, allows more space for you while still retaining safe and efficient use of the dryer.
Dryer Boxes are installed during dryer vent replacements/reroutes, but can also be added without replacing the entire system. In some cases, it provides negligible benefits, but often it improves safety and performance of the dryer. Ask our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians if this is beneficial for your situation.
Dryer Wall Exhaust Termination
One Replacement, Lifetime Lasting.
Wall Exhaust Terminations made of hardened plastic degrade over time and at some point will need to be replaced to keep critters from building nests in the venting. Our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians install Inovate Dryer Vent Wall terminations made of powder coated steel and designed in a way that requires no maintenance other than the annual cleaning during service. This lifetime product will be the last one that you will need for your home.

Dryer Flex Hose
Replacement or Upgrade
Dryer vent ducts are often a simple crinkly foil tube which runs from the back of the dryer to the outside wall with the dryer outtake. The majority of these flexible ducts are not rated or approved for connection to the dryer that is in your home. The easiest way to check this is to look at the dryer manual or the data plate on the back of your dryer.
We find every day that the appliance installer ignores these safety warnings on the dryer because the flexible hoses are easier to install. They are often a fire hazard, providing little protection, and easily becoming torn, crushed, or clogged.
Replacing these improper connector hoses is automatically included with every dryer vent service we provide. Let our Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians just replace them to protect you and your home.
